in 2022 the average person lives  for 72.6 years and retires at 63.  

that leaves you with less than nine years  to get to live your life how you want to  

but only if you've played your cards right and  saved your money or have a retirement fund and  

haven't developed any health problems along the  way well doesn't that sound a little bit [ __ ]  

sacrifice nearly your entire life to be able  to maybe do what you want for nine years  

finally get to do all the travel you've wanted to  do for your whole life just quickly before you die  

here's why you should say [ __ ] all  that and quit your job to travel today

i'm sharing this video with you today because  it's a video i needed when i was stuck in a job  

i hated and living in a way that wasn't true  to the dream life i had in my head i was just  

living in a manner of which society had deemed  appropriate and right i used to wake up every  

morning feeling more and more depressed and just  stuck just had a lady come and pick up our dresser  

out of here really messy and  she just tried to buy bear

when we learned about making money online from a  podcast nearly four years ago i knew that would  

be our escape we quit our full-time jobs and  both started working at a cafe during the day  

and at night we were learning everything there  was to know about e-commerce and making money  

online along the way there were so many  moments we wanted to quit we were broke  

and living in a caravan with our dog bear  uncertain if we would ever get through it

i know you've had a really bad day then the  australian bushfires hit 20 000 people are  

tonight in the path of the mega fire rolling down  the blue mountains into the town of lithgow we  

were warned of catastrophic conditions and right  now there are seven fires burning at emergency  

levels then covert hit across the world dozens  were falling ill with a mysterious virus that  

would ultimately change life as we know it it felt  like everything came crashing down on us at once  

all this made us question our decision of leaving  our jobs friends and our comfortable secure lives  

but after years of struggling and learning  our way around e-commerce and nearly giving  

up multiple times we sold our first ecommerce  brand for enough money to help us escape and focus  

solely on making money online and when we did we  left for bali for a more affordable way of living

southeast asia living on a frugal but comfortable  budget and making money online and i'm telling you  

right now it's not as difficult as it's made out  to be however the ticket of entry for you living  

this lifestyle is handing over the security that a  9-5 job claims to provide you if there's anything  

that the last few years can teach us is that the  security is entirely false as it can be taken away  

from you at any given moment so when you weigh  up how little security your job already has  

why wouldn't you want to take the risk to see  what happens when you chase after what you  

really want in life whether it's travel starting  a new business or chasing a dream really you owe  

it to yourself to see where it could lead you  in the past nine months i've learned more about  

how life works the world and even myself than i  have in almost my entire life i've realized how  

resilient we as humans can be when backed into a  corner there's an old saying that when you want to  

take the island you have to burn the boats and  i feel like that even applies to something as  

simple as quitting your job and buying a one-way  ticket and finding a way to make it work waking up  

every day and going to a job you hate and living  a life you hate is really hard doing that same  

stuff that you hate and working on something that  you care about on top of it to escape the life  

is even harder but so is the uncertainty of  knowing when the next paycheck is coming in  

or if you're going to run out of money whilst  overseas no way of living is for certain there  

will always be doubts but i'd rather choose the  difficulty in my life and know that all the hard  

work i've put in is going towards getting me my  dream life not the person that i work for when we  

started our online journey we were just working in  e-commerce and when we cut the cord of being able  

to go back to a job at any time by moving to bali  it was amazing how quickly everything expanded we  

quickly gained new knowledge new revenue streams  we started an online course that actually teaches  

people how to do exactly the same thing that we  do in e-commerce and we even started this youtube  

channel you're watching here which took off while  we were overseas which we did not plan for at all  

we were so grateful for it and it wouldn't  have happened if we didn't take the chance  

at selling everything we had to pursue  a life we weren't even sure existed

i just wanted to share the story because  thankfully other youtubers had done the  

same before we left australia and they really  helped motivate us to take the leap and i feel  

like more people that share stories like ours  the more inspiration can be spread across the  

world to take that leap of faith life is so  short and [ __ ] can really change at any  

given moment security is false on any level so  i suggest trying to remove security as a reason  

not to do something and try replacing it with  strength because no matter how bad [ __ ] gets  

you can get through it just like you have with  everything else in the past this is your life  

start living it for you you owe it to yourself  to get the most out of your 72.6 years
